The innocence and playfulness of a kid

the always wanting to know the why

The adults instilling fear which they never knew about
Training to become adults of the world
The loss of questioning
The gaining on reasoning
The various manipulations
The wars and love lost

The becoming of adults
matter becoming more important than the mind
The 9-9 job
Feels like all the fun is robbed

The roads full of zombies
With nothing to have to think
Going out to work
Coming home to sleep
Families seem like a burden
Being single also feels all alone

Thinking everything has been figured out
Life goes on like this for eternity
Till one day comes the realization
That one is already 50
Has one lived or run behind money

And then one fine day
One again becomes a kid
Becomes a tantrum thrower
A beans spiller

The caretaker becomes the one needing care
The child becomes the parent and the parent becomes the kid
