A meet after years too long
forgotten the face, the voice, and the love that once was so strong

The eyes meet and a blank stare
In the same room where
They had held each other dear
He holds her hand and let it go
The silence is broken by a hello

They sat by the fire place
Daring to not look at each other
She held her guard, didn't give anything away
A cold smile on her cheek, an emotional delay

He lifts his eyes and looks at her
She stares him back
For a moment they forget where they were
The distance, the time seem to have never gone by
They were back to being the young souls that they were

They leave the room hand in hand
And walk under the twinkling stars
The moon shines on them
While the rivers seem alive

On the way to the hills under the big tree
They kiss each other again
For a flickering moment nothing seem to have changed but then...

He has been away and she has been with someone
They have moved on although in their hearts they still feel as one...
